Summer Blockbuster season Start early this year!!!! I Am Number Four just Blow up.

The Second Big Action movie of the year before the summer is out. I Am Number Four. Starring the new Boy Wonder of Hollywood, Alex Pettyfer. Well, if any of you have watch some British movies or TV, then it won’t be hard to recognize this young man from Storm Ryder or Tormented.

This year you’d be watching 2 movies coming out almost at the same time. Beastly and I Am Number Four starring this strappy young lad. The story for IANF is simple enough, a young alien in exile on earth (a little bit of Superman), hiding from his enemy, trying to kill him, made friends and together they fight the evil off and will try to unite all of his kind to fight. Superpower, Love Story, Friendship, the tri-factor of a summer blockbuster, Checked. The visual is nice, the story is common but solid. And the chemistry and humor is there. I think this is a good start to a new summer.

On the other hand, the OSCAR season is finally over. Everyone guesses are all for Social Network, King’s Speech and Inception. Well, I must say though me included didn’t really think James Franco have a chance to win, but to be fair, 127 Hour is a good movie.

The story of a man trapped in a cave, the struggle, the final “Cut”. At first I gone into the cinema with the idea that I’ll have to endure a long a strenuous 2 hours of watching a man suffering. But as it turn out, the movie is pretty well balance in humor and tragedy, the story in one line is boring, but it is both also a deep story of a man’s decision to come to a point where there’s no return to decide, choosing to survive or die. I must say the conclusion is that u gotta b a lil bit Crazy to do what the Character did, and to say the least, this is a true story and Aron Ralston is still climbing now after the whole ordeal. And you want to see a brave man? Here is one.

A new start of the story of Devil and God start again this year with an Exorcism. I never thought that I’d see an Exorcism story to come so early. The story of a free-spirited priest, sent to study exorcism, met a experience exorcist, and the story goes what changes the man’s heart to fully devote himself to God.

The Rite is the story, starring the legendary Anthony Hopkins. You find that he is so old. And still so creepy, and for the relatively new Colin O’Donoghue to hold his own in the movie is an amazing experience. Colin did a great job expressing the conflict, the disbelieve, the doubt, and the surrender with flawless smoothness in transition. I think to be in the same room with an actor like Sir Anthony Hopkins have a great influence in how you perform. Just great to see it. A bit dramatize, and the humor. But the last fight with the demon is a great combat. Though I thought it is a bit short.
