Justin B is the King this year, while we are still waiting a King and a Mar-tian to take over the Rock Band of the Year

I don’t know how many of you are following the awards show this year round. On the music awards circuit there’s 2 things that’s happening that’s baffling or rather not for the industry runner.

First stop is Justin Bieber, “The Greatest Phenomena” to hit the music industry like the snow storm, that even the Cool can Kill.

Well, regardless how the people, or the mass media wants to talk about this wonder kid from Canada, how small he is, how thin he is, how young he is, or how bad his voice is singing. All of that doesn’t really matter. He broke every single speculation on any stereotype that most music exec have thought about what he’d be. Well, if u are not really following the trend, then u must not remember that Justin is the Kid, that first got the most hit in You Tube, the first entertainer to get the most hit in the then high traffics only online Channel, he is the first online music sensation from an unknown. Then it span into a rival bid to sign him from Usher and Justin Timberlake.

After he is signed under Usher, he then turn up to be the kid who just filled the void between Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brother. It’s a perfect fit for the exact right moment.

So needless to say anymore, Justin have arrive and now every music exec on the ground will have to throw away all their play book and need to really open up their eyes again that there is no just simple play book to this all now.

The other amazing revelation in the awards circuit is that there’s 2 spit hot rockin’ group out there that have gotten into a crazy battle on every award show there is today. First we already knew that the Kings of Leon is great musically. They have conquered the music world before. Now they are going to go to bid for the Best Group out there. And the opponent in this battle, though not really new in the industry but pretty new in the circuit is 30 Seconds to Mars.

Both lead by a brothers team. This is one of the greatest battle. While the Followills talks more of emotion in an emotional vocal with their near country style music, created “Use Somebody” and “Radioactive” that related to audiences in a more Organic personal emotional level.

The Leto Brother have chosen a more angst-filled, near activated electric metal music to represents themselves. The perfect pitch screaming, the much wider material of humanity in the Lyrics, tune out some of the sickest, relevant, modern sound of our time, “Beautiful Lies”, “Kings and Queens”, “Closer to the Edge”.

The music and the style of both group are true to their own name and fits perfectly to it. Where Caleb and Nathan are the kings of the Earth and mankind. And Jared and Shannon are the voyagers that could carry all of us into outer space and Beyond.

The Last Showdown we'll be looking for is the Grammy, will Justin beat tradition and win both AMA and Grammy or will Eminem sneak up on him at the last minute. (seems like that's the case with the album sales and the number of nominations though.)

and would Kings of Leon finally go home with the ultimate prize in music for a group and beat 30 seconds to Mars to the beat.

Well 30 have won almost every awards out there. Strange that the AMA and the Grammy didn't think so?!!!

Tron a Legacy continue, and Exceeded!!!! Speed on to the Grid

As for the last movie of the year that you are going to watch…… I’d recommend Tron Legacy.

Don’t bother about the box office rating, don’t bother about what the review says. Better, Don’t read even this article. And watch with your own eyes.

First time director Joseph Kosinski, Best Actor Jeff Bridges , the ever fantastic Garrett Hedlund(I am amazed since he appears in Four Brothers and hold his own in the movie with Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson and André Benjamin)

You ask for the rebellious child who can do it all. Even in the digital space. Garrett Hedlund is ur most suitable charming guy, with a subtle maturity to his looks and performance.

As for the fans of the original, and since the quarter of the century u have evolve through matrix. This is the return of a legend with a vengeance. Not the dark philosophical Matrix action (which in the first place I always felt lack of something. Some spectacle of the light and the grid.), gone were the good old almost black and white and gray and blue of the original with the hint of orange or red for the drop line of the riding in the grid or the fight scene. Replacing it, is a much more organic environment, and an amazing suit with close led lite lining to the original white semi-latex.

In the good old days, Tron is the tone down color of a graphic spectacle. This time, the legacy continues. It really continues. The Digital world created is a fantastic and huge art work. And the Games just gets even more 3 dimensional than any 3D action u can get anywhere. And Joe’s direction to keep most 2D filming and merge with a 3D element on ends just makes the special effects seems even realistic than any real thing out there.

Congratulation for the conceptual team and Joseph Kosinski for the great aspiration they have done. It’s truly a tribute to a great sci-fi legacy that have lasted for close to a quarter of a century.

Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Voyage tru a great Amazing Special Effects

Going in to the holiday season, we are all hit with a series of studio promises hits.

It’s been a tradition for the last decade to watch some magical movies for the holidays, I guess one is not enough for this year. We have to have 2.

After Harry Potter we went for another magical storyland. Narnia to see again the good Prince Caspian, Edmund and Lucy back to the Aslan land of the great magic.

I must admit, Narnia is always the good old Children story that never gets old.

This time Voyage of the Dawn Treader is treading on stormy weather.

If you always love the magical story telling of the Narnia story you’d love this adaptation from 2 stories into one. (Strange when most movies area splitting one into 2. It’s going the opposite way. But the chronicle of Narnia are after all a story book that got like more than 30 story line to exploit from and the story is usually edited into some strangely fragmented ways. Still it’s a great children books none the less.)

Voyage proves to be an adventure that is light, both on the battle as well as the story line. Not too much of the first and second movies battle scene, just a bi heavy on the special effects. But the ship voyages on the sea looks really great on screen.

But hopping from island to island, there’s too many unfamiliar character in the movie to look at and too short of a time to tell the story in a better narration in my opinion really. It seems that every trip in every island are just too short.

Thanksgiving. The day that we are all Tangled up in a cozy family fiesta

Next off for the month, for the thanksgiving night, after having a great turkey meal, we goes into the friendly movie theatre to watch a much anticipated movie, for the kids Hoo Hoo Hoo!

Tangled.

The revival of the Rapunzel. Well, I never thought twice about the story of Rapunzel really. It’s a really short story and what I have in mine is just the prince calling to the tower and everyone is happy in the end. To do a movie in 3D of such a short story would be a big task to reinvent the whole situation.

Love the man who is not a prince. Love the horse who despise the prince. Haha. Love the princess who is just plain…… independence and I love all the crooks that support the whole movie.

Finally Disney got back to it’s roots of innovative story telling and not rely too much on special effects or higher purpose story line that’s too high for standard normal man to achieve.

Well, it’s funny enough for the adult and innocence enough for the kids to watch. So…. Well done Disney, this time without even a single touch from Pixar.

Facebook on Steroid in awards show nomination count!!!!!!

It’s been a crazy week.

First of we will start off the month with one of the most buzz about movie of the year, ready to hit the 20 prestigious in award nominations to date. Of course we are talking bout the uber-hyped Social Network.

Both leads, Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield getting nods for Lead Actor and Supporting in the Golden Globe. Jesse Even hit a high note on the SAG. Well, if it’s a popularity vote by the industry award standard member I’d say the James Franco would get the upper hand, but for a great ensemble I’ll give it to “Social”. How can u beat a story about one man that lead the people by billion by being a Jerk or a simple Geek?

I don’t know about anyone else. For me, Andrew gets my highest acknowledgement on his performance. A struggling teen with somewhat the most innocence of heart towards friends. The portrayal is just infectious.

And I think that everyone should, go a have a look at this both entertaining and thoughts provoking movie that nips a brick off the hearts for the adult, the teenager, and the general public. (generally the people who actually goes on Facebook.) OH! Justin is such a bitch in the movie as Napster founder Sean Parker, U just want to kill him when he got Mark to increase their share option.
