Tron a Legacy continue, and Exceeded!!!! Speed on to the Grid

As for the last movie of the year that you are going to watch…… I’d recommend Tron Legacy.

Don’t bother about the box office rating, don’t bother about what the review says. Better, Don’t read even this article. And watch with your own eyes.

First time director Joseph Kosinski, Best Actor Jeff Bridges , the ever fantastic Garrett Hedlund(I am amazed since he appears in Four Brothers and hold his own in the movie with Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson and André Benjamin)

You ask for the rebellious child who can do it all. Even in the digital space. Garrett Hedlund is ur most suitable charming guy, with a subtle maturity to his looks and performance.

As for the fans of the original, and since the quarter of the century u have evolve through matrix. This is the return of a legend with a vengeance. Not the dark philosophical Matrix action (which in the first place I always felt lack of something. Some spectacle of the light and the grid.), gone were the good old almost black and white and gray and blue of the original with the hint of orange or red for the drop line of the riding in the grid or the fight scene. Replacing it, is a much more organic environment, and an amazing suit with close led lite lining to the original white semi-latex.

In the good old days, Tron is the tone down color of a graphic spectacle. This time, the legacy continues. It really continues. The Digital world created is a fantastic and huge art work. And the Games just gets even more 3 dimensional than any 3D action u can get anywhere. And Joe’s direction to keep most 2D filming and merge with a 3D element on ends just makes the special effects seems even realistic than any real thing out there.

Congratulation for the conceptual team and Joseph Kosinski for the great aspiration they have done. It’s truly a tribute to a great sci-fi legacy that have lasted for close to a quarter of a century.
