The Come Back of Boybands: One Direction VS The Wanted

As for the music part, talk about come back of boy bands, One Direction been on the map for almost one year now. Only US start to pick up. I understand the One Direction Craze, bcoz it fits into all the teenage dreams. (it’s what the studio call the biggest non-polluted market)

But before there were One Direction, The Wanted I believe is the one. The young but more matured band debuted about one year earlier. I guess The Wanted will appeal to a more mature generation of audience than the more craze young teenager in the United State.

While the Wanted single hit the Billboard at No. 3 and One Direction Hit No. 1 I guess the British invasion has Finally Arrived.

Or rather the European invasion is complete. As the Oscar is also taken by "The Artist", a movie made in US by the Frenchman.

American Idol 2012 Top 8

And for the American Idol, I do still watch the show. But not as enthusiastically as I was before, reason?! Life happens, I’m starting to become busy creating my own dreams than watching others create theirs.

The Idol dilemma is always that there’s only one person that’s going to win. So here ‘s what I think of this year’s contestants. Top 3 Colton, Phillip, Jessica. That’s my prediction. Last 3 is Hee Jun, Hollie, Skylar, I am sorry, someone have gotta go. Hee Jun is gone as expected. Unless Hollie and Skylar pull out something from the hat, then they are out of any hat trick that’s going to interest anyone. While Elise, Deandre and Joshua are going strong, but if they too run out of any hat trick, then the order of going I expected will be Deandre, Elise and Joshua. And to tell the truth, after this week’s contest, it felt like a drag to watch the next 6-7 weeks unless something fascinating and different happens.

Talking about TV, while I thought that the TV is heading into a draught. Touch and Smash lights up the screen with some great new ideas and Downton Abbey showing some war action.

James Carter VS Hunger Games, Great movies VS Great Promo

Putting the tragedy aside, while every person on the planet is buzzing about Hunger Games, Yes, it is a fantastic movie to watch, but there’s another fantastic movie that’s worth the ticket price out there. John Carter, the 100 year old story. The so-called biggest flop of all time, every person that have gone into the cinema and watch it will tell you, it’s worth all the 250 mill the studio have put in. the effects and the heart of every actors is felt through the screen. And people are missing this great film because of bad promo strategy and fast pace evolution.

as for the violence in Hunger Games. I trust that people haven't watch Battle Royale from Japan. Now that's the real "Violence and Cruel" Hunger Games.

World Trade Center MEmorial Park, Where a piece of my heart lies

The other day I saw a documentary of the WTC memorial park. This is not a cliché nor some sympathetic comment. I do not have a loved one taken in the incident. But I am proud as a human being living and sharing earth with everyone. We are connected, literally and figuratively, through earth and sky and sea, and spiritually. I always felt death, and the meaning of death from my own experience when my father died. And WTC holds a piece of my heart, that one moment in my life where everything stopped. This is why last year when the memorial park is open to public, I cried with you, and today when I saw what it meant I cried with U. and yet we are alive, we are strong, and we all vow to live the best life we have for the one we lost.

Tragedy, Injustice? weight in on Trayvon Martin Case

Trayvon Martin death is a tragedy. But I understand most when a person died, there’s always ripple. I never support guns but after seeing sane people handling them carefully and responsibly, I believe people should have the freedom to hold them but with great retrain and regulation. But about Trayvon case, in my opinion, if a fight on the football field is turned into an assault charges, then a gunshot dead suspect shouldn’t be released without any evidence proving beyond doubt that the person is innocence. Show the wound that George is hit. Show the proves that his life is threaten that day. If you can’t I do not think that the country could easily forget nor forgive a young life taken so lightly. So now, the Zimmermans are in a prison regardless whether they are actually committed or not.

Long Time, Go Kony!!!!!!

Hey Everyone!!! It’s been a very long time since I wrote anything here. Reason: bcoz Eddie and Matt is gone. Leaving me alone.

Anyhow there’s a few of things I want to get off my chest this week.

KONY 2012, with all the commotion about Jason Russell going around, I hope that you all can see past that and see that the effort of Invisible Children is still a great cause to support. So, I hope you all would still be coming out in great number on April 20th. Get you Kit, Poster and print as many as you like and makes Kony the name to remember, the most wanted person on earth, and save the children.
